Thursday 18th September 2008 and closes Tuesday 28th October 2008
The brainchild of Exeter-based Roger Payne, Graphic Expressionism provides a showcase for graphic designers and artists - a forum for their creative talents . Most professional designers are graduates who work in commercial studios to tight creative briefs and this new genre sets them free from their everyday creative straightjacket, inviting them to open their minds and liberating their imagination. This genre actively encourages the use of computer-generated works to illustrate the development and scope of contemporary art tools, and also aims to form a bridge with more traditional mediums. Examples of this work by six different contributors are displayed to illustrate the huge potential of this new and exciting genre - which we are delighted to offer in special preview
Exciting New Art Genre - Graphic Expressionism
which is being launched nationally early next year.
